We believe that Sunday mornings, and Sunday evenings are the launching pad for the rest of the week for students. Throughout the week is when real life takes place. This is when discipleship takes place, and life is shared together. On Wednesday night we have Mid Week youth from 6 PM to 7:15 PM. This may look different each week, with different leaders and students sharing in the teaching, but the foundation remains the same; the desire to grow deeper in our relationship with one another, but more importantly in our relationship with Christ.
Throughout the Old Testament, God receives multiple proper names. In almost every instance where God is given a name, the circumstances are miraculous and teach us something powerful about the character and provision of our God. Jehovah Jireh (The Lord Provides) was given when God provided a ram for Abraham’s sacrifice instead of Isaac. Jehovah Rapha (The Lord Heals) was given when God healed the water at Marah so the Israelites could drink. These stories are just a taste of what the Names of God series will teach us about the character, and person of God.
